Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am passionate about my students because of their enthusiasm and eagerness to explore new activities. Each student brings a unique energy to our school's pickleball club, making them incredibly special and deserving of engaging and innovative learning experiences.
Our goals for this project are to introduce pickleball to our students, enhance their physical fitness, and foster important values such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
By integrating this exciting sport into our curriculum, we aim to create a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to stay active and develop a positive attitude toward physical exercise.
The pickleball paddles, balls, and nets we’re requesting will significantly impact their learning by providing them with the essential tools to effectively practice and enjoy the sport. These items will make physical education classes more interactive and hands-on, allowing students to develop physical skills, coordination, and a deeper understanding of game strategies. The right equipment ensures a safe and enjoyable learning environment, encouraging active participation and making fitness fun.
What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds and enthusiastic approach to learning. They are always eager to try new things and embrace challenges, which makes them ideal candidates for experiencing the benefits of pickleball. This project will not only introduce them to a new sport but also help build their confidence, teamwork skills, and love for physical activity.
