This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love to sit in a comfy spot to read. Our library needs new bean bag chairs for reading time. Students can use these bean bag chairs during my read-aloud and when they are reading their library books. My goal is to create this cozy reading area for the library. Encouraging reading is critical to student success.
My students are excited when they have a comfy space to read and talk about their books with classmates.
These bean bag chairs will give students their special spot to read comfortably and enjoy their library books. Students will also be able to move these bean bag chairs next to one another to share the stories they have read.
