This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students LOVE exploring in the art center! They always enjoy using different art materials to create thoughtful art work. As an important part of early childhood learning, providing my students with the necessary tools to create art also helps them to promote imagination and early language development skills. Not only will these materials provide more diversity in the art center, but they will also provide organization in the center. For example, the carry-all container will provide greater, color coordinated organization for the markers in the center. This will also promote color sorting as students play in this center! Overall I know that my students will enjoy the addition of these materials to the art center!
