My Project
These piano keyboards and accessories would provide my music students with the tools and experiences they need to become successful musicians. Not only will these keyboards be used to teach my piano students how to play scales and songs, but they will also be used to assist my choir and voice students in learning how to find pitches and learn basic music theory concepts.
Many of my current students love playing on the classroom piano.
When we have a little free time in class, some students in my general music class have taken the liberty to pick out songs to teach themselves how to play. Others enjoy playing on the xylophone, glockenspiels, and resonator bells which are excellent for beginning and reinforcing piano skills.
These keyboards would help my students lay a foundation of musical skills and knowledge that they can carry into other music classes. My hope is to encourage our youth to create with musical sound and become future songwriters and composers.
