My Students

My students come from both rural and city households. Our School was rated C under last year accountability model, which grew from an F. In a quest to continue to raise our academic rating, we are seeking to provide our students with opportunities to participate in in inquiry learning which has shown growth in students performance. My student are eager to participate in activities that are hands on and need this motivation to excel higher in their studies. Please give!

My Project

These materials will allow my students to be able to investigate the topics to be learned in Physics. It will allow abstract ideas to become concrete knowledge. They will deepen the students learning and increase motivation to learn Physics and perhaps go in to STEMS related fields of study.

These materials will provide my students with opportunities that they otherwise would not be able to experience during Physics.

Physics deals with the study of Motion and the Forces that cause motion. The devices, such as they tape timer and dynamic carts, help to describe motion in term of speed and acceleration. The masses, spring scales, Newtion Device and various other materials will, help us to understand the forces behind the work that causes motion. Then the Optics devices, tuning forks and resonance device will help students understand wave properties and the energy behind them. Magnetic devices, bulbs, wire and such, will deepen the students' understanding of the forces behind magnetism and electricity. All these materials (and more) are needed to make a course, that many think of as "hard," as the simple science that it is. My students and I would be very appreciative of your support in inspiring young minds to become the young scientist that they are!
