My students need differentiated activities to encourage them to focus on their physical strength, coordination, and collaboration.

My students are unique in every way. Not every day goes according to what is in my lesson plans. I sometimes must veer off to teach life lessons and discuss how they must treat each other. However, I know that the lessons that they are learning will be helpful to their success in the future. I care about my students and they know it. I take the time to know all my students, not just as learners, but as people. This has helped to create a real sense of belonging in our physical education classroom/gym. No matter the obstacles they face outside the class, they strive to be the best they can be every day.
Our school is a Title I school with a strong culture.
We nurture and motivate all students. The students recognize the genuineness of what we do, and they respond with great effort to learn and achieve. When I leave my job, I don’t have to wonder if I am making a difference, because it is evident in the growth that I see daily. If nothing else, I want my students to feel as if they can conquer any task and achieve any dream.
Healthy students perform better in school. Being physically fit helps students become more focused. Physical Education can serve as motivation for some students to attend school. Kinesthetic learners need to move and Physical Education is the perfect environment for that.
Being physically fit increases confidence and academic performance.
Playing pickle ball will help students improve dexterity, mobility, agility, and balance. Using the footballs and flags is a good way to keep kids interested in football and to keep them safe at the same time.
The basketballs will be used to show students how to play the sport in a more organized way with the fundamentals. The purpose of the soccer balls/soccer goals is to develop and enhance the skills necessary to enjoy the benefits of soccer which is increases aerobic capacity and cardiovascular health. The purpose of hula hooping is to get the students use to moving their bodies and burning calories. Keeping my students fit is my main goal. I will be using the cone for different agility, speed and, zig zag activities.
The requested items can teach kids to problem-solve by focusing on team work rather than misbehavior. Regular physical activity is important for promoting lifelong health, well-being, and the prevention of various health conditions. It is my daily goal that my students will take what they learn from my class and use it to promote a better life in and out of the classroom. Having worked with students at other schools, I know the importance of having the proper equipment for a successful Physical Education program. I want my students to know that they are worth the investment of diverse activities and Donors Choose can help fulfill that goal.
