My Students

My amazing middle school students are smart, creative, spontaneous, and full of a love of learning! They come to school each day with lots of questions about the world around them. Whether working on math problems or conducting science experiments, my students love to learn by doing.

Our school serves many military families from the nearby Air Force base, a Navy EOD school, and an Army Special Forces cantonment.

We are in a unique area to have military families from so many different branches of service. Because of the challenges of military life, my students are resilient and hard-working.

My Project

Our students work hard in all of their classes, and they need a physical fitness break during lunch and advisory time to get them re-energized for the rest of the day! We are looking for ways to give our students as many opportunities for movement and physical activity as possible.

Help me provide our students with yard games and equipment to get them up and moving during lunch, advisory, and reward times!

The cornhole sets, toss games, yard dice, and other outdoor activities will help convert the patio outside our cafeteria into an engaging space with designated athletic spaces for movement and physical fitness. This sports equipment will help our students work on sportsmanship and gross motor skills as well as encourage a healthy and fit lifestyle.

These outdoor games will give our students quality time with their peers and to be fit while having fun.
