Physical Education Library to Teach Whole Body Health and Wellness
Help me give my students a Physical Education Library! While most of my time with students is spent moving and being active, I believe in teaching whole body wellness. These books will engage students in lessons on health.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As the Physical Education teacher at my school, I get to interact with every student on campus! And each of them is wonderful. My younger students are energetic and full of life and my 3rd - 5th grade students are working towards becoming leaders both in class and around the school.
Located in the heart of San Diego, our school includes a wide variety of races, ethnicities, family dynamics and socioeconomic status.
My school is neither small nor large but it is a unique and special community.
My Project
We spend almost every minute being as active as possible during Physical Education, but I also want to make sure that I include instruction on all areas of health and wellness. These might not be the most interesting topics, especially for young students, but I believe that the earlier they are exposed to these ideas, the better!
This library will support the health and wellness instruction that I give and will help keep even the youngest students engaged in the topic.
I have asked for a list of books that cover a variety of topics including fitness, yoga, mindfulness, nutrition, physical education and more.
