Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am teaching AP Biology, Environmental Science, and 3 Co-Taught Biology classes. I teach these 3 courses with a Special Education Teacher so we can help meet the needs of our diverse students. I am also the advisor for Garden Club and Eco Club.
I am requesting two TPT gift cards so I can purchase different 3D paper models so the students can learn about photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
My Co-Taught biology classes will enjoy creating their own leaf models. I also want to purchase template stencils printouts of flowers and leaves from TPT so the students can use them to decorate our garden beds. My club members enjoy campus beautification projects to improve their emotional well being.
