My Project

All students deserve access to the materials and resources used by working professionals in the field, especially since digital media is such an important and ever-growing sector in the global economy.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing enriching educational experiences for our students, I am seeking this equipment to help enhance my students' production and presentation skills and talents.

I am going to include broadcasting and journalism in class, where my students will learn broadcasting and journalism skills using the video cameras, microphones and tripods. With this camera and lens my students will cover school sports, events and learn to broadcast their own shows. They will be learning how to edit, add graphics and audio. This class will be all about creative expression, with the hope that it inspires them to see learning from a different perspective, through the lens. The goal being, to give students the opportunity to create positive content, while giving them early access to real world skills that they can parlay into future employment.
