Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students deserve to have their high school memories captured, celebrated, and shared. With a camera, lights, printer, and backdrop stand, we’ll create a student-run photo booth for school events like dances, spirit weeks, and club celebrations. These tools will allow students to take high-quality photos they can print or share digitally with their families, many of whom may not be able to attend in person. This project is about connection and belonging.

When students see themselves reflected in school events and yearbooks, it strengthens their identity and pride in being part of our school.

It creates lasting memories and deepens relationships between students, staff, and families. Over time, this simple photo booth can shift school culture by making it more joyful, inclusive, and student-centered. It will help us build not just memories, but a stronger, more connected school community.
