This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to take pictures. In my photography elective, each student has been equipped with Cannon T7 DSLR cameras that were generously donated to the school, and then edits and prints them like professional photographers.

Now in year two of this endeavor, we need some replenishments.

We are out of photo ink for their prints and some of the USB card readers have broken. Without these tools, students have to share USB drives, which cuts down on autonomy, and cannot print their photos to share with the world.

In addition, the keyboard I use every day to teach students through my computer has died. We need a new keyboard so I can give me students feedback on their photos, as well as charge the pen for my laptop so I can draw detailed feedback on their designs.
