I need to continue my training in phonological awareness to support my students' reading.

My Project

I have students who need additional support to become successful readers. I would like to take the asynchronous Impact Phonological Awareness training through IMSE.

During this course, I will learn how to evaluate students in alphabet awareness with letter and sound recognition.

This course will provide me with 12.5 hours of video courses to give myself additional education on phonological awareness. This will help me support students directly in the classroom. After the training, I will better understand assessing and teaching phonological awareness to students. Using assessment to determine where students are helps plan for what skills they need to work on.
