My Project
Peace! I'm a teacher working to make a difference in the learning of 5th and 6th grade children. I love them and care deeply about their literacy development. I work with students diligently to meet their current needs. Their literacy development will allow them to grow positively and stay far from the school to prison pipeline.
My project is created with the intention to advocate for the children in the upper elementary and middle school grades who still need to learn phonic, decoding and the foundational skills for reading, which makes it difficult for them to participate in their grade level curriculum.
