Our class loves reading and writing! The children love to play games together!
There are many phonics partner games on Teachers Pay Teachers that support the Science of Reading.
We recently got the UFLI Foundations explicit and systematic phonics program. The program covers one particular skill each week. For example, one week we may be focusing on the long a silent e sound like in cake. There are games that correlate to the specific UFLI lesson for week. We have played the Honeycomb race game from the TPT seller Puddle Jumpers Speech Pathology. I would like to purchase this game and the Lucky Squares game for the entire first grade year. We would use these games to reinforce our phonics concepts in our learning centers.
Children learn best through play! So, we would love to be able to purchase some phonics games that align with our phonics program! The games that we are interested in can be used for partners or small groups. They will be used to reinforce vowel sounds, digraphs, compound words and more!
