This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will support my student with significant academic needs achieve progress and learning growth in their phonemic awareness skills. Students with cognitive delay learn better with appropriate tools such as manipulative and adaptive resources. With the right tool, explicit instruction and reinforcement I’m positive that the targeted skills more specifically learning the letter sound, combining them and producing word would be possible. I am hopeful that my project will turn into a reality as it aims to support students acquire functional academic skills especially with acquiring their literacy skills.
