My Project
It’s the start of the year and my second graders are all in different areas for phonics. We will be starting word sorts for them to practice the skills they need. I wanted them to not only sort words but to read them in books. The games will allow students to engage in phonics practice in another fun way independently. The phonics touch and read will help students practice reading the word parts in isolation. These items will be used for independent practice as well as in small group. The materials will help me give my students targeted phonics practice.
