My Project
I have found that my students are missing critical parts of phonemic awareness in order to be able to read, write, and spell at the level that they should be in the 5th and 6th grade.
We are working hard to close the gap!
But I need tools to be able to help them along the way.
By having these learning kits that my students can use in small group and independently, it will help them on this journey. I want to build their confidence so that they will be able to make progress with letter sounds so that they can continue to grow as readers, writers, and spellers. Their ability to communicate is dependent on us closing the gap!
