My Project
My project aims to transform phonics learning into a fun and engaging experience for my first-grade students. I am seeking materials such as letter tiles and cookie trays, which will allow students to build words in a hands-on, organized way. Additionally, I would like to incorporate stickers, stamps, and paint dobbers that will enable students to create words while practicing their phonetic skills creatively. These engaging tools will not only enhance their learning but also foster a love for reading and writing. I also plan to include sand trays as a unique way for students to develop their fine motor skills while practicing writing. This multi-sensory approach to phonics will make learning more engaging. By providing these materials to my students I can create an interactive classroom environment where students are excited to learn and explore language in new and imaginative ways!
