This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will be learning to love reading this year! I'm so excited for another year of teaching first grade! This year, as with years past, my focus is always on phonics and phonemic awareness. With these new pop-it games, it will be an exciting and entertaining way for the students to learn.
A teacher had them last year, & let me borrow them and they were a hit!
I'm looking forward to having this "fun" activity in my classroom. I have also short vowel-focused manipulatives to practice letter sounds. The clipboards are an easier way for our classroom to stay organized, and to provide easy access to these activities.
