My Project
My project includes phonics books for early literacy that touch on skills such as short and long vowel sounds, blending and digraphs. All of these important skills are needed for early literacy.
I work with K-2 students who require extra learning support with specially designed instruction outside and inside of their general education classroom.
These materials would help them supplement their ability to learn to read. The books are super colorful with rich illustrations to help students make connections with the text. The touch and read word mats will help students to learn to sound out words using research based interactive strategies of blending and touch dots.
