My Project
Phonics for All is a project that will help meet the needs of our students through exciting and hands-on phonics instruction. Students will practice decoding and encoding and learn about sound-letter recognition through several activities, including manipulating letters on magnetic baking trays. Students will have opportunities to practice specific phonics skills, and once reading, they will be able to practice listening to themselves. This will help with fluency and will allow students to hear themselves as they embark on the beginning stages of becoming fluent and lifelong readers.
We hope this project inspires our students to foster a love for reading.
