it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Your donation to our project will aid in students gaining repeated systematic practice for decoding skills. Through workbook tasks, students can improve confidence and increased exposure to phonics rules. These resources provide scholars with structured activities with visual support. Several students are excited to complete assigned carry-over practice pages. These workbooks, will allow students to review completed tasks and reference previously taught skills.
Fluent word reading and language comprehension requires systematic phonics instruction, guided and independent practice.
Students can answer WH questions related to simple stories, analyze the pattern of word families, learn novel vocabulary words in short text, and enhance spelling practice. Many scholars are reading below grade-level but show significant gains through explicit instruction and peer led activities. They are multi-sensory learners who respond well to tactile, verbal and visual support.
