I am a Literacy Coach that supports teachers and students in kindergarten, first and second grade. I work closely with each teacher to support them as they provide research based literacy instruction.
The school is a Title I school with many children who are second language learners.
My Project
The materials I will purchase will help me support all the children at the school become readers through learning sight words by mapping the sounds in words, teaching phonics with a multi-sensory approach and playing phonics games both in class and at home.
I will set up sound walls for students to learn how to read new words in all classrooms by purchasing materials at Teachers Pay Teachers and design phonics centers for parents and teachers to borrow games to support learning.
I want to provide proven materials and methods to all my kindergarten, First and Second Grade students and teachers. Please help me.
