My Project

Though LETRS training, I have learned much about common errors and what is challenging for beginning readers.

Phonemic Awareness is the greatest predictor of later reading success.

It is essential for students to see their mouths as they learn their letter sounds to ensure they are creating the sound correctly.

I am currently taking the LETRS course. It seems you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! I learned students need to learn how sounds are formed and how the mouth feels and looks when sounds are produced. The hologram mouth movement sets will be awesome. We also need toner for our printer and magnets to help us use the phoneme cards we print.
