Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will have the opportunity to always use the locker to charge their devices. For others who have forgotten or have not learned appropriate cell phone usage in class, I will warn them first, then ask them to lock it up. Based on other teachers at my school who have used phone lockers, this should lead to better usage of their phones. I hope that by limiting the devices from the teenagers that need more help they can improve the learning in physics and chemistry. I hope that by having this more students will choose chemistry and physics to pursue.
