My Students
Welcome to the "Phoenix Embassy III!!" In this Embassy Lounge, you will find over 100 student scholars engaged in learning about the variety of countries in our world today! My students are from various backgrounds and they are yearning to learn about politics, religion, culture, history, and geography from places they're not accustomed to. Within these 4 walls, my students will actually transition my classroom into a spacious and safe learning lounge that will allow them to be spaced appropriately while exploring other countries and their contents! To build this spacious lounge atmosphere, I want to bring in seating that will allow students to sit in a comfortable atmosphere while learning. My students have requested seating that would allow them to move and be free each day. These items will enhance my classroom and will allow m learning to continue to flow.
As the teacher, I want to do away with traditional, the traditional classroom decor.
I have found that when students have relaxed and flexible seating, they tend to take in more and grasp what is being taught. I just want to continue with this transformation so that my students can get the FULL effect of learning!
My Project
The decor requested furniture for this project will help bring a relaxed spacious learning lounge feeling to my students. This variety of seating will transform my classroom into a mini lounge and will open the door to allow free learning inside the room. This free and relaxed seating arrangement will allow the students to sit where they please and enjoy the content being taught. I want to use this furniture to promote safe, calm, and relaxed environment conducive to learning! Over the years, I have found out that when students are free, relaxed, and comfortable, they are open to a deeper learning.
