FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Brogden's classroom raised $535

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I selected Phonics games and puzzles. Students use the pictures and blocks to build new words. This strategy is very effective in teaching students to read.
I selected crayons, pencils, pencil erasers, and dry erase markers.
These are basic materials needed in school. Where do all of the pencils go? Our families do not have a lot of money, so we lack the basics such as crayons and pencils.
The dry erase markers are used to write words on a dry erase board. This is an effective strategy to teach reading.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
