Help me give my students items like Newton's Cradle, Magic 8 Ball, a spinning top, and other "How did they do that?" items to help students think about the phenomenon.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are beginning to study force and motion and experience Newton's Laws of Motion for the first time.
I want to create exploration stations where students have hands-on items that spark their curiosity and have them question, "How did they do that?" Having items such as a Newton's Cradle, spinning top, traveling wheels, and magical items involving hovering and predictions, helps us give them hands-on items to experience the phenomenon to help them want to question and investigate then recreate their learning by showing and demonstrating through engineering and science.
