Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My amazing 4th grade students live in a rural community, the majority of which receive free or reduced lunch. Our school is a single school district with approximately 350 students, located in an agricultural community. Our small school allows our students a positive environment where everyone knows each other. My students love school and feeling like they are apart of something special.

My students love learning and having the opportunity to be independent and make decisions in their learning.

These flexible seating materials will be a wonderful addition to our classroom, enabling my students to find ways outside of the traditional desk and chairs that can enhance their comfort and learning. As a teacher, it is very important to me that my students are comfortable in their classroom and are given every chance possible to reach their fullest potential. These different types of seating will offer them a physical outlet that supports comfort, engagement, focus, and motivation.
