Pete, Senor Panda, David, and Dragons Are Our Reading Buddies

Help me give my students MerryMakers Dragons Plush and Collective set of Dragons Love Tacos books, Pete the Cat variety of books, and Senor Panda books.

My Project

Our students are fondly familiar with the characters in each of these story books. We have read several of the characters' books in class but we haven't had the joy of having some of these in print version, only online. Our students are eager beavers who are learning to show appreciation for literature and they love imitating reading and retelling the stories of these book characters. David is their age so his antics are relatable to them. The Pigeon books make it easy for them to get animated and sometimes loud and we love it when we read and the repetition brings us joy. Senor Panda always gives us a heartwarming tale with a lesson on how to behave especially at school. And we all love tacos so we enjoy reading about the Dragons and their antics. Our students are learning to be light-handed with books so they have loved some to the book fix-it box and beyond so we always welcome new and replacement books for their reading pleasure. Anytime they can have a plush to match any of our read-alouds it draws them in even more so adding the dragon plushies will give them a reading buddy for any of these books.
