Help me give my students a new perspective. Learning how to draw items from a multiview perspective can be difficult to understand. These cubes will allow us to keep built and labeled models from moving.
Our school is a Title I, minority-majority school that is located in south Oklahoma City. With seventh and eighth grades, our school serves a very diverse group of about 700 eager learners.
Our students represent both uniquely blended cultural backgrounds and a similarly variegated set of skills and perspectives.

My Project
The art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface requires the right impression of the object's height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.
We are requesting clear cubes which will be used to hold and view built models.
Each cube will have the sides labeled to guide students in viewing and drawing the correct view in the correct location on multi-view schematics. Dimensioning will then be learned and added to those drawings.
3D modeling is a skill that can open up careers in fields that involve video games, movies, architecture, illustrations, engineering, advertising and more.
The knowledge gained through perspective views, drawing, and dimensioning activities will be applied to understanding 3D-modeling with CAD software.
