Personalizing Our Learning Through Interactive Notebooks

Help me give my students large glue sticks and zipper pouches to store interactive note booking supplies!

My Project

A vital part of helping students learn new vocabulary is by giving them the chance to interact with the new terms on a personal level and use their creativity in representing what they know. I love that my students take pride in the work they complete in their notebooks. They get excited when I tell them to take out their notebooks because they know that they are about to learn something great through their own creations.

When students have the opportunity to build their own textbooks, they realize how important it is that the material is correct.

Many of my students don't have the ability to purchase the needed materials to take full advantage of Interactive Notebooks. By providing each student with a large glue stick and pencil pouches, students can focus on producing their best work at any moment. The notebooks they create in my class will prove to be highly useful in their future classes as well.
