My Students
My first grade class is a place of challenge, discovery, and filled with many different opportunities for all students. They are creating a foundation for their future through learning and education. My students face the challenges of living in a high-poverty area, yet they come to school eager to learn every day.
The students grow and learn in different ways with different supports.
They bring to the class their wonderfully diverse backgrounds as many are new immigrants to our country and have an eagerness to learn English. All of my first grade students have unique needs and talents that help them grow as lifelong learners.
My Project
Our classroom is full of amazing ideas and learning! My students are free to explore and are inspired to think out of the box and just go for it! From our table talk discussions to creating individual projects that can be combined to be one.
My students have to have almost everything personalized so the idea of learning to design their own personalizations and create their own books would be an inspiration for them.
Students can use the binding machine to create personalized books that can combine various projects and then add their own illustrations.
This smart little machine makes it easy to personalize anything but more importantly will become a perfect addition to our classroom materials to create unique books! And great tools to support working and learning together with ownership!
