it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeing a regression in students' fine motor skills due to COVID -19 and decreased participation during individual and group sessions. I have noticed if I make the activities personalize and according to their interest, they stay focused and participate in the entire activities and retained the information well. As an occupational therapist, I worked with different cognitive levels of students and they would benefit from personalized art and craft where they learned how to recognize and spell their names, organize, and categorize materials through fun, enjoyable, and functional craft projects. Help me give my students personalized multi-textured art projects to help them improve their fine motor skills. I have worked in past years with different fun activities to enhance their fine motor skills. For all these projects I used my personal very old circuit machine and worked hours and hours during the weekend to make these projects. I would benefit from a new Cricut maker where I can cut out different materials that my old machine can’t and also work at school to make these activities.
