Personalize It! Science Edition

My students need a Chromebook, colored pencils, a bookcase and other general classroom supplies in order to personalize learning in the science classroom.

My Students

Many of my students have special needs. In order for them to fully understand the world of science, we need to personalize their learning.

My students are 8th grade general science learners in rural Virginia.

Many of my students are of low socioeconomic status, at-risk, or disadvantaged. More than 50% of my students require special accommodations in the learning environment. With that being said, my students are VERY eager to learn and succeed in the science classroom.

My Project

My students need some extra classroom materials in order to personalize their learning. Many of my students thrive off of color-coding materials (hence the colored pencils). Others need audio (the Chromebook), and others need to be able to read individually (the bookcase for books and reading materials). With these materials, we will be able to have "centers" to personalize the learning for each student so that they can have a more valuable learning experience.

With your donation, my students will have a better chance in succeeding in the classroom.

Many students get discouraged when they reach a struggling point in instruction, but with your help, my students can learn the same content across a variety of ability levels, and have a better chance in succeeding in science.
