Personal Spaces

My students need cushion to help them have more choices of where they can comfortably move around the room. They also need bins to have a place to store books that are on their own level.

My Students

My students are a diverse group with varying ability levels, races and economic backgrounds. They attend a title one school and are eager to learn. There are several students with varying special needs. Many are very full of energy and love to have the ability to move around the classroom. They love having choices in the classroom and helping create a fun and inviting place for us to all learn together. This allows all the students to feel they truly belong in their class.

My Project

Individual cushions and book bins will allow my students to have a comfortable place to move around the room to read and also keep their books organized. This will give the students more freedom to relax and help them be able to focus on practicing their reading skills in a safe and cozy environment! Having the ability to move around the room will allow students to have more space between them and create a quieter space that will be their own to be able to read. These items will allow students to have the tools to help them create their own personal space.
