Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school is a campus in a high-poverty area, serving over 1,100 students in grades 6 through 8. Over 88% of our students participate in the free or reduced-price lunch program. This is our fifth year open and we continue to build our own sense of family and community in order to serve a diverse population of students. Our learning community values family, integrity, respect, strength, and teamwork. We create engaging learning environments that foster positive relationships and develop growth mindsets. My students are caring, curious, creative, and love to work together in teams. I truly have the best students who deserve the very best!

Please help me provide our students with personal hygiene items to be fresh and comfortable for school.

We need to restock our student supply pantry with deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, and Q-tips. Students are able to grab what they need from the supply cabinet to be ready for the day, no questions asked.
