My Students
Our learners are brave, strong, and resilient. They come from all walks of life, and with a wide range of strengths and struggles. This distance learning experience, however, has been a significant challenge to many of our students and has shown just how important and sacred our classroom community truly is.
Even though we are teaching virtually for the time being, I want to give our learners an experience that is as true to in-person learning as possible.
My Project
I have recently experienced how beneficial it can be to have access to an iPad for my classroom. I am teaching 100% virtually every day, and have been seeking a better way to give them individualized feedback in my own hand.
With the iPad and the Apple pencil I already have, I will be able to write in real-time on their documents, slides, hyper docs, Google apps, and SeeSaw.
I will be able to circle errors, help them with editing their writing, model math problems, and annotate documents to highlight and modify for learners.
