This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teens go through many changes at a time: physical, emotional, and hormonal, to name a few. This is also when they learn how to adopt healthy habits and routines. However, some teens need extra support, guided examples, and a safe place to seek guidance. We hope our students can find such comfort in our counselors’ office and know they can always stop by for a snack when feeling hungry or toothpaste because they don’t have any at home. Our goal is to create a safe place for students to go to at any time they need.
