This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in a new position at a new school this year. I’m leading a preschool autism class. So far, we have four students. Three of the students are not potty- trained, yet.
For my students, personal care involves learning to meet their needs such as toileting and feeding themselves.
As a result, I am requesting pull-ups for my students who are not potty-trained, yet.
I am also requesting a laminator and laminating sheets to create and protect the pictures symbols some of my students use. Many of my students use pictures to express their needs including, the need to eat or use the bathroom.
