This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project I am putting together today is to have a needs cart it together for my students. The majority of my students are from low-income households.

In my time at my School, I have had students that have had personal care needs that couldn’t be immediately addressed.

This project aims at having this need filled. I would like to have a cart ready for them to take what they need without having to necessarily ask for it. The needs cart will be helpful for kids that missed breakfast, do not have access to clean running water, need new hair tools, or are having a feminine emergency. Your donation will help these kids feel that they have a safe space to learn and grow in.
