My Project
Most students in my school come from low-income families. They often rely on school resources for personal hygiene. The school-provided pads and liners are the cheapest items available, made from cardboard. They are difficult and uncomfortable to use.
I want to provide quality feminine hygiene products so all students who need them will have access to them. Using a cheap, cardboard tampon can be humiliating to a teen girl. They can automatically be judged for using them. I want to provide good products so that no one will be singled out and bullied. (Believe me, this happens!)
