My Project
Our sixth graders are top of the school, but motivation can sometimes be a problem. Luckily for us, a class store still motivates the kids!
We utilize class dojo, and when students earn points for positive behavior, they can cash them in in those prizes!
We give out points for participating in class, teamwork, helping out a friend, positive behavior/ leadership, among other things. We try our best to provide a variety of prizes for students to choose from to continue to motivate them throughout the year. Some favorites from this year and years past are food-related rewards, laptop stickers, fidgets, and keychains. We sometimes use food prizes for kids without snacks if needed. The bins and labels will help ensure all materials can be stored and organized correctly, ensuring kids can view all prizes and supporting us as teachers to store them.
