As the sponsor of a 4th and 5th grade etiquette and mentoring club at my school called the Perfect Pearls, we strive to teach our girls basic skills on acting like a young lady at school, home and in public. Each young lady is responsible for being respectful of themselves and others, especially adults. Our goal is to also teach them ladylike behavior in the classroom. We expect positive feedback from their teachers frequently.
Every girl has a unique ability inside of them.
Each girl completed a vision board at the beginning of the year. Participating in this book study will allow the girls to bond and push each other into greatness. We plan to show them how the characters in this book overcame obstacles and stayed on their path. At the conclusion of this book study, the culmination project will be a look into the future of what they will become. We will know why they will be considered a Hidden Figure!
