This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Rewarding students for perfect attendance is important because it reinforces positive behavior, boosts student motivation, and supports their academic and personal growth.

Students with perfect attendance will be awarded a certificate and a prize.

Our goal is to award the students who made the extra effort to not miss a day each semester and to encourage others to try the challenge for the next semester.

Rewards, such as certificates, stickers, and pens, reinforce the habit of coming to school regularly. By acknowledging students for attending every day, schools send the message that consistent attendance is not only expected but also valued. Attendance requires effort, particularly when students face challenges like illness, family responsibilities, or transportation issues. Recognizing perfect attendance shows students that their commitment is appreciated.

Regular attendance is directly linked to better academic performance. Students who attend school consistently are less likely to miss important lessons, fall behind on assignments, or struggle with understanding key concepts. Rewarding perfect attendance encourages students to stay engaged with their education.
