My Students
Help us find our GROOVE! Our percussion section has the talent to go far, but needs some ethnic and specialty instruments to perform the music for our upcoming marching season. The music calls for some instruments not usually found in the public schools, but would be very much appreciated.
We believe our students are some of the best in the country.
Many go on to receive college scholarships in music and major in Music Education. This is preparing them for their endeavors in a college percussion ensemble. Our band members are energized by the band program and want to see it grow.
My Project
My students need various percussion instruments to perform our 2010 marching show entitled "Medusa." With the requested items, our percussion section will be properly equipped to play our marching music for half-time shows and state competitions. Our students are motivated, but deserve better equipment to play on. Our head director would greatly appreciate any donations as our budget has been recently cut in half. Our students learn responsibility and empathy through our program.
We hope you have a heart for music.
The items I have hand picked are exactly what we are lacking to make the Fall of 2010 easier to handle financially. Without these instruments, our students will not be able to properly perform the music as written by the composer.
