My students need world percussion instruments so that they can learn about the instruments from all over the world. Also, they can perform concerts with these instruments.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students crave percussion instrument,s but have been limited to what we have in the classroom. I would like to open their eyes to new things.
My school struggles with money but they students do the best they can.
Students are bright and attentive every day and deserve new materials that other schools are able to afford. Students are very professional. They are learning to say please and thank you for everything that they do.
My Project
Students will play with these instruments daily and will learn about the history of the instruments. Students will also perform in monthly concerts. Students will perform for other classes and teacher each other as well. Students will learn new rhythm and techniques.
This will make a difference because students will know that they too can have new things.
They will also learn what other students play from different parts of the world. Students will learn new rhythms, techniques, languages, sounds, smells, etc. Students will learn how the drums are assembled and what materials are made out of them.
