Penmanship Practice - French Style

Help me give my students French whiteboards so they can practice their penmanship with style and cultural authenticity.

My Project

My students are completing a unit on schools in France, and they have been working on writing with fountain pens at the same time. They are improving their writing skills, but they should have an authentic French experience using an authentic French school supply. The ardoise! This is a French whiteboard with the lines necessary for practicing their penmanship.

Students will learn about the beautiful art of penmanship, while also improving their handwriting with practice.

Students will be able to use the side that is ruled to help with their letter spacing and shaping. They will be able to use the blank side to practice sentences and phrases in class.

As it is, we use whiteboards daily in class and our classroom set is starting to look well-loved. How fantastic would it be to update to a culturally authentic tool in the classroom?
