My Project
Students at Title 1 schools don’t always have access to basic school supplies, so teachers do all we can to give them equitable access to education by providing them with materials they need. However, this is costly for educators as materials are typically funded by the teachers themselves.
Last year, my sixth graders used over 1,000 pencils in my math class alone.
This donation would help provide my math class with enough pencils for this upcoming school year and hopefully enough to share with other teachers as well.
The disinfectant wipes are probably the most underrated item in a classroom as teachers are cleaning their rooms tirelessly as they spend more time in their than their own home. This donation will help keep the room clean and more importantly, individual desks sanitized from class to class.
